Opened in 2006, Hacienda del Álamo’s course was designed from the outset to challenge the skills of players with a wide range of abilities. With generous but well bunkered fairways, approach play is sternly tested and keeping your ball under control is essential. Designed by Dave Thomas Ltd, the course offers gently undulating terrain as well as original features such as orchards and groves which have been thoughtfully retained. These provide players with many opportunities for exciting and interesting golf with strong landscape features. When the resort was conceived, both the development and the golfing facilities were designed to make Hacienda del Álamo the premier golf resort in the whole of Spain. As the course has matured, so many who have played there regard it to be amongst the very best.
